Why Your PDF Menu Is Costing You Bookings

PDF menus are hard to read on a phone and invisible to Google. A real menu page fixes both.

The PDF menu is one of the most common problems we see on restaurant websites. It is quick to upload, but it quietly works against you.

What goes wrong

  • Guests have to pinch and zoom to read it on a phone.
  • Large files load slowly on mobile data.
  • Search engines struggle to read dishes, so you miss menu-related searches.
  • Every price change means designing and uploading a new file.

The better option

A real menu page with clear sections, short descriptions and allergen notes. It reads well on any screen, and you can update a dish in seconds.

If guests cannot read your menu easily, they will book somewhere they can.
